Our Responsibilities

Palmetto Hall Property Owners Association (PHPOA) takes immense pride in maintaining our community’s beauty and strong sense of camaraderie. The PHPOA Board of Directors govern the day-to-day operations and policies in accordance with established by-laws and covenants.  They are assisted by the PHPOA Office which serves as a resource for residents and helps with community-related matters.

In addition, the PHPOA works in close collaboration with the Palmetto Hall Country Club (PHC) to ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of our entire community. While the responsibilities of the Country Club and the POA are completely separate, they do complement each other’s responsibilities ensuring the high standards of living in Palmetto Hall.

It is important to note, a Country Club Social membership is mandatory for residents, which grants access to exclusive amenities and social events within Palmetto Hall. This membership is separate from the PHPOA Assessment, which funds POA operating expenses such as security and maintains a capital reserve for infrastructure replacement such as the road and gatehouse.

Responsibilities of the PHPOA include:

  1. Enforcing Community Standards: Upholding governing documents to maintain property values and ensure compliance.
  2. Managing Common Areas: Overseeing maintenance of parks, green spaces, and recreational facilities.
  3. Architectural Review: Reviewing and approving architectural changes to uphold aesthetic harmony.
  4. Financial Management: Budgeting, collecting assessments, and allocating funds for maintenance and improvements.
  5. Community Events and Activities: Organizing social events to foster community engagement.
  6. Communication and Outreach: Disseminating important information through various channels.
  7. Vendor Management: Contracting and overseeing vendors for quality service delivery.
  8. Enforcement of Rules and Regulations: Ensuring adherence to community rules for safety and harmony.

The Palmetto Hall Country Club (PHC) contributes significantly to the community’s vibrancy and lifestyle. Responsibilities include:

  1. Management of Golf Courses: Maintaining and scheduling the championship golf courses.
  2. Tennis Facilities: Managing tennis courts and organizing related activities.
  3. Pool and Pavilion: Maintaining the community pool and pavilion area for residents’ enjoyment.
  4. Southern-Style Clubhouse: Operating the clubhouse for dining, events, and social gatherings.
  5. Membership Management: Handling membership programs and inquiries.
  6. Social Events and Activities: Organizing a variety of social events and recreational activities.
  7. Fitness and Wellness Programs: Offering fitness facilities and wellness programs.
  8. Customer Service and Member Relations: Providing prompt and professional service to members.
