Mission Statement
To promote and provide the optimum architectural supervision for Palmetto Hall that is consistent, courteous, and efficient by administering the published ARB Guidelines for all new home construction and exterior revisions to existing dwellings.
ARB meetings are generally, the first and third Monday of each month. Submissions must be received in the office and electronically two weeks PRIOR to the next meeting.

Finance Committee
Mission Statement:
The role of the Finance Committee is to review and study financial matters, reporting to and making recommendations for the Board. The Committee’s activities include:
- Development and presentation of the annual operating budget along with preparation of a current year projection of expenses. As needed, the Committee will also prepare a long-term projection of income and expenses for both operating and capital accounts.
- Conduct a monthly review of operating statements, balance sheets and financial holdings.
- Participation as the financial liaison for community projects initiated by the BOD
- Development of the POA’s investment policy, ongoing monitoring of financial investments and coordination with the POA’s outside financial advisor in order to achieve the maximum return consistent with the POA’s risk guidelines.
- Participation in the outside audit/review of the POA’s books of account as needed and warranted by external findings.
Initiate other projects as directed by the Board and/or the Treasurer of the POA.

Maintenance & Infrastructure Committee
Mission Statement:
The maintenance & infrastructure committee is responsible for the maintenance and supervision of all landscaping, irrigation, buildings, signage, roads and all common areas within the community under the guise of the POA. As a direct result of this supervision, the Committee will, from time to time, present to the Board various recommendations for the Board’s consideration, to improve and/or maintain these common areas. Drainage will be monitored for possible deficiencies. Maintenance and upkeep of the system will be recommended, from time to time, with the input from engineers and other appropriate professionals.

Mission Statement:
Palmetto Hall Security is best achieved when education, prevention, and resolution methods are employed. Our security is optimized through the cooperative efforts of our community, security committee, security team and the resources of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s department.

POA Heritage Strategic Committee
Purpose and Mission:
The role of the POA BOD/ Heritage Golf Strategic Planning Committee is to provide thoughtful, strategic input to Heritage Golf management to improve the club experience for all Palmetto Hall Residents.

The Marketing and Communications Committee advises the Board of Directors to develop compelling communication and marketing strategies to achieve Board objectives. The Committee convenes as needed and appoints members based on the Board’s communication or marketing goals.
